Recently, the latest couple of Telly town, Divya Agarwal and Apurva Padgaonkar made their first public appearance after their engagement. They arrived together for the birthday bash of their TV actor and Lock Upp fame DJ Ali Merchant. During their interaction with the media, Agarwal said something which made Padgaonkar awkward.

Consider it as poking fun or insult, but when Divya and Apurva were asked about participating in controversial reality show Bigg Boss, she replied, “Hum actor log se ho jayega, is bechare se nahi hoga,” referring to her fiance. She further said that he only knows how to sell alcohol. On this, Apurva laughed uncomfortably.

Let us tell you that this appearance of Divya and Apurva comes days after the latter proposed to the Bigg Boss OTT winner at her 30th birthday party with a unique ring that read ‘Baico’ (wife in Marathi). Divya shared the good news with her fans and well-wishers on Instagram. She put out the bunch of happy pictures with the love of her life and wrote, “Will I ever stop smiling? Probably not. Life just got more sparkly and I found the right person to share this journey with. His #BaiCo  A forever promise. From this important day, I will never walk alone  Rab Rakha .”

Post this announcement, The Ragini MMS: Returns actress in an interview revealed that she knows Apurva since 2015 and has even dated him in the past too for three years. She also said that Apurva stood by her ‘like a rock’ after she her break up with actor Varun Sood in March this year.

For the unknown, Apurva Padgaonkar is a Mumbai-based engineer-turned businessman. He owns four restaurants in the city. Apart from this, Apurva also takes masterclasses on cooking and is a fitness enthusiast.
