Ravi Kishan Recalls Being Humiliated By Actors In The 90s
Ravi Kishan exclusively told Zoom about the rejection and humiliation he endured from several successful actors during the 1990s. The actor-politician also spoke about overcoming those painful experiences and persevering through hardships to build a successful career in the entertainment industry, eventually earning recognition and establishing a strong place for himself.
The actor stated, “This is a lesson for all my juniors and the younger generation. The youth, especially Gen Z, give me a lot of love. India is a vast country with 1.4 billion people, and nearly 65% of them are young. Many of them are searching for hope and direction in life. Some break down after failure, some turn to alcohol. They should look at my journey. I am living proof that you can survive and keep going despite every setback.”
Ravi Kishan Opens Up About Turning Rejection Into His Greatest Strength
Sharing how he turned those rejections into his greatest strength, Kishan said, “Humiliation and rejection are a part of life and society. That’s okay. Just like Lord Shiva held poison in his throat, he neither swallowed it nor threw it away, I held on to my pain. I turned every rejection and every humiliation into my strength and energy.”

Reflecting on how criticism and rejection became the driving force behind his success rather than breaking him, Ravi Kishan said: “People used to tell me, ‘You’re doing Bhojpuri films, your career is over.’ They never imagined that one day I would build my own industry, create my own opportunities and become a superstar on my own.”
He also mentioned, “Some people don’t get a godfather in life. They have to become their own godfather. That was my life’s challenge—to become my own godfather. There was a time when I was just a filler. Today, people are writing my entire story. That’s nature’s answer.”

Meanwhile, Ravi Kishan was recently seen in Netflix film Maa Behen, co-starring Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri.
