Sidhu Moosewala has given many Punjabi hit songs, but he was known as the most controversial Punjabi singer. He is also accused of promoting gun culture in Punjab. He was often embroiled in controversies due to his songs. One of his songs had provoked Punjabis and due to this there was a lot of controversy.

Apart from singing he has also worked as a lead actor in Punjabi films like Musa Jatt, Yes I Am Student, and Jatt Da Muqabla.
