Hrithik Roshan Went For These Two Projects Over Karan Johar’s Brahmastra 2; Reason Inside!

The upcoming Bollywood film Brahmastra is creating a lot of hype on the internet. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, the movie is slated to hit the theatres next weekend. In the latest piece of news coming in, the Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan has been offered Brahmastra 2. But if reports are to be believed, Roshan has rejected the film. Read on to know the reason.

Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action thriller Vikram Vedha. Besides this, he is preparing for two VFX-heavy films- Krrish 4 and Ramayana because of which he has politely declined the offer to portray the role of Dev in Johar’s sci-fi film. “This decade, he wants to do more films and he doesn’t want to end up spending the next 7 years on these 3 dream projects. He informed his thought to Ayan and Karan, and politely let go of the offer,” a source told an entertainment portal.

Now, the team of Brahmastra is looking for another A-class actor to play Dev’s role as the character requires a certain amount of aura.

The lead pair of Brahmastra 1, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are currently promoting their film in various parts of the country. They were recently in Hyderabad where they received praises and blessings from filmmaker SS Rajamouli also. According to Ayan, Brahmastra has been in the making for almost a decade. According to some recent reports, the budget of the film has reached Rs 400 crores after superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been signed in for a cameo in the film.

Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. The film will be released in 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
