Jenna Ortega became an overnight star after the Netflix comedy ‘Wednesday’ premiered. Since then, it has been trending and receiving praise all around the world.

Tim Burton’s directing is breaking every rule, whether it’s the cast’s performances or the legendary plot of Wednesday Addams.

However, Jenna recently admitted in an interview that she was using Covid while filming the ‘viral’ Goo Goo Muck dance, and the actress and producers have subsequently received huge wrath from the audience.

The Goo Goo Muck dance has been trending on our social media pages, and whenever we check our Instagram or Twitter accounts, it’s the dance covers that we watch back-to-back!

Jenna Ortega recently revealed details about the ‘viral’ dance in an interview with NME. As it turns out, she was pretty ill when filming the sequence.

When I awoke this morning, I felt aches throughout my body Jenna Ortega added. Normally, I don’t feel sick, and if I do, it doesn’t feel that terrible. “The feeling was like being hit by a car and a small goblin had escaped and was scraping against my oesophagus.”

She further stated that she was given medications in between dosages and was anticipating a positive ‘Covid-19′ test. Jenna Ortega added, “I asked to recreate it, but we didn’t have time.” “I think I could have done it a little better.”

As soon as the news leaked, netizens began to criticise the actress and the series’ creators. “It was dangerous, unethical, and terribly selfish thing to do, both on her part and on the directors and producers,” one tweeted, while another added, “There’s just no good way to spin an actress deliberately exposing hundreds of cast members and crew to COVID.”

Another said, “This definitely deserves criticism, but the production team/management must be held accountable.”

“It is their obligation to ensure that the workplace is safe. They clearly messed up and will have to regain the trust of the set workers.”

Even though many criticized Tim Burton for allowing Jenna to work in that state, Netflix has since offered a clarification.

“Jenna was subjected to a rigorous COVID process following a positive test confirmation. She was removed from the set as a result,” the statement said.
