Actress Saira Banu got emotional remembering the actor when she visited her late husband Dilip Kumar to receive the ‘Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar Award’. She cried while accepting the award and said, ‘She is still here’. Let us tell you that on Tuesday, Saira Banu reached an event to collect the award given to Dilip Kumar. In the program, the actress called Dilip Kumar a Kohinoor and said that he should also be honored with the Bharat Ratna.

Conversing with the press at the event, Saira said that she feels that Dilip is still near her and watching everything. Discussing Bharat Ratna for the late actor, Saira said, “It should be honoured to him thus because Dilip Sahab has been ‘Kohinoor’ for Hindustan. So ‘Kohinoor’ should get Bharat Ratna.” She reiterated, “He is still here. He is not in my memories, I believe it is true that he is with me every step of the way, because that is how I will be able to live my life. I will never think that he is not.” Here he is with me, he will always be my support – my Kohinoor.
