South sensation Vijay Deverakonda has suffered a huge loss after his last outing, Liger’s failure. The actor, who was expecting his film to do exceptionally well at the box office, got disappointed with its outcome. But seems like though the film didn’t work, it has mended a broken relationship. Yes, you heard that right.
According to sources, Liger’s poor performance has brought Deverakonda close to his lost love, Rashmika Mandanna. And their recent trip to the Maldives together is a prove of this reconciliation. They are now back in town after spending quality time together.
As per a report in a leading daily, “Vijay Deverakonda found peace in Rashmika Mandanna’s arms when his film Liger tanked at the box office. Post-Liger’s failure, Rashmika was the one who consoled him and they found their lost love back. They loved each other truly until their egos drifted them apart. However, Vijay and Rashmika are now very much together.”
Commenting on his equation with Dear Comrade co-star, Vijay had earlier said, “We have done two films together at an early stage in my life. She is a darling and I am fond of her. We are really good friends. We share so much through films, lots of highs and lows. A bond gets created.”
Calling the link-up rumours’ cute’, Rashmika had said, “It’s all so cute no. I am like aiyoo babu. It is so cute. See Vijay and I have done so much work together, too early in our careers. When we don’t know how the industry is, and suddenly work with like-minded people, you sort of like become friends, and you have a lot of common friends. I have this gang in Hyderabad, he has this gang in Hyderabad. And we have a lot of mutual friends. It’s like that. It’s so cute when the whole world is like ‘Rashmika and Vijay, that’s cute.”
Before their Maldives vacation, rumours were rife that Vijay and Rashmika have called it quits and are only friends now. Karan Johar had also declared Vijay ‘single’ on his famous talk show, Koffee With Karan 7 even after his guests like Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Pandey hinted at Vijay’s alleged relationship with Rashmika. But what we know at present is that Vijay and Rashmika have rekindled their love and are back with a bang.
