During a recent awards ceremony, Ranveer Singh touched Nana Patekar’s feet and kissed him on the cheek. Ranveer Singh was announced as one of the winners at the event for his film 83, which is based on the life of former cricketer Kapil Dev.
Ranveer stood up and saluted the people in the audience in a video shared by a paparazzi account on Instagram from the Lokmat Maharashtrian Of The Year event in Mumbai on Tuesday. Ranveer then motioned for a bat to be thrown and walked up the stairs leading to the stage after touching it.
Ranveer went up to Nana Patekar on stage and touched his feet to receive his blessings. He also hugged and kissed the veteran actor on the cheek. They also exchanged handshakes before Ranveer walked to the front to accept his award.
Nana Patekar was most recently seen in the 2020 film It’s My Life, in which he played a supporting role. Anees Bazmee directed the comedy-drama, which starred Harman Baweja and Genelia D’Souza.In 2018, Nana Patekar was charged with sexual harassment after actress Tanushree Dutta accused him again. He was cleared of all the charges in 2019. She accused Nana of sexually harassing her on the set of Horn in 2008. Okay, please.
Ranveer was also seen waving the national flag while singing on stage at the awards ceremony on Tuesday evening. He also performed Malhari from Bajirao Mastani. Ranveer wore a white outfit, black shoes, and sunglasses to the event. Ranveer attended the event just days after returning to Mumbai from the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2022.

Ranveer has several projects in the works, including Rohit Shetty’s next directorial effort, Cirkus, starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. The film is set to be released on Christmas Day. Aside from that, Ranveer has Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, in which he co-stars with Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on February 11, 2023.
