Ayan Mukerji’s film featured Ranbir as the central character, Shiva, while Alia appeared as his love interest, Isha. Despite receiving mixed reviews, “Brahmastra” has now emerged as one of Bollywood’s biggest post-pandemic successes. Following the huge box office success of the fantasy movie, it has been learned that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are planning to work together again on a romantic comedy project.

In a recent interaction with a private media agency, Ranbir and Alia finally reacted to the reports. The newlywed couple disclosed that they haven’t signed any new films together, and confirmed that their next work together will be the second part of the “Brahmastra” franchise. “Alia and I have a real-life comedy going on. I don’t know whether we need to do a film together or not,” said Ranbir Kapoor, putting an end to rumours about his next project.

On the other hand, Alia Bhatt said that she is aware of the rumour, which suggests that they are working together. However, the talented actress confirmed that their next film will be together for Part 2 of “Brahmastra.” She added, “Ayan is so protective of me and Ranbir that I don’t know if he will let us do anything other than Brahmastra. But as Ranbir said, our life is just a rom-com, so there you go.”

But, when she was asked about the scope of doing a film together outside the Brahmastra universe, the actress said, “You never say never. We’ll see if anything interesting comes up.” Talking about the Brahmastra franchise, the second part is titled “Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev.” Reportedly, the second part will revolve around Dev and Amrita, parents of Shiva, the protagonist of Brahmastra. Rumour has it that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are the new additions to the star cast of Ayan Mukerji’s project. The power couple is rumoured to play Dev and Amrita in the film.
