IFFI: 52nd International Film Festival To Be Held In Goa On This Day: Deets Inside.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has released the poster along with the rules for the 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). This film festival will be held in Goa from 20 to 28 November 2021. Let us tell you, the entries for participating in its competitive section have also started that will end by 31 August 2021. The International Film Festival of India is considered to be the oldest in Asia and one of the largest international film festivals in India. The 52nd edition of IFFI will be held in a hybrid format in January 2021 following the stupendous success of its 51st edition.

The festival will be organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Goa and the Indian Film Industry. IFFI is affiliated with the International Federation of Film Producers Association. Every year during the film festival some of the best films are recognized and the best films from India and around the world are shown.

Let us tell you that due to the Coronavirus, this festival, which was to be held from November 20 to 28 last year, was postponed. After which it was organized in January this year. The festival was organized from January 16 to January 24. On the occasion of the birth centenary of Indian cinema legend Satyajit Ray, this time the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will pay tribute to him through a special preview at IFFI. Further, recognizing the legacy of this great personality, the ‘Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Cinema’ has been started this year, which will be presented every year at IFFI.
