Late comedian, Raju Srivastava’s daughter, Antara divulged regarding her father and reminisced last moments spent with him. Raju left for the heavenly abode on 21st September last year, leaving the netizens shocked. The comedian took his last breath at 58 years after suffering from cardiac issues.
In the recent interviews, Raju’s daughter Antara talked about her father’s sudden death. As Antara got the news regarding her father’s heart attack, she misunderstood that it was her uncle , Kaju instead who had expired. Her uncle was also admitted to the AIIMS hospital.
In her words, “I thought that my chachu had suffered a heart attack on August 10, 2022, when my mom called me with this information. I felt there was a mix up. I thought the news of my father’s attack was a rumor. Mentioning about the last conversation she had with her father, it was her birthday when she had enjoyed the evening with whole family.
Antara revealed regarding her father’s gym routine. Raju was gym enthusiast. The comedian was very specific and particular about his workout schedules. Antara conveyed that his father’s demise was incidental and gym should not be held accounted for it. As per her, Raju had already reduced his gym workout hours after his heart issue deteriorated. Antara divulged, “My father would go at the gym at least every alternate day. Whatever happened to him, it was just incidental that it happened while he was gymming. We should not blame the gym.”
For the unversed, Raju died because of a serious cardiac arrest in August last year. The popular comedian’s last rites were performed by his son, Ayushman Srivastava at the Nigam Bodh Ghat.
