The actress shared that despite both of them having moved on, Raveena happily married to film distributor Anil Thadani and Akshay married to Twinkle Khanna, her name continues to appear alongside Akshay’s in online searches. Raveena added, “Once I was out of his life, I was dating someone else, and he had moved on too. So where does the jealousy come from? I don’t understand why people can’t move on when we have.”

Reflecting on the media culture of the 1990s, Raveena said gossip magazines at that time were notorious for sensationalizing personal lives. “I stopped reading gossip a long time ago. I never read anything written about that. Why raise my blood pressure unnecessarily?” she said with a laugh. She also criticized how the same people who once shamed actresses now claim to be feminists and said, “Some of the same women who used to body-shame or slut-shame actresses back then now carry the tag of ‘feminist’. That was a bad time. Social media has changed everything. Now you can tell your truth.”
