Ranveer’s performance in Jayeshbhai Jordaar ‘Tour de Force’: Producer

Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh’s forthcoming film, has been making waves in the business for a variety of reasons. Not only will it have Ranveer Singh in a bizarre role, but it will also reunite him with his Band Baaja Baraat director Maneesh Sharma. Maneesh is co-producing Jayeshbhai Jordaar with Aditya Chopra, for those who are unaware.

Maneesh is also working on the trailer for this year’s most anticipated film, and he can’t seem to stop himself. The filmmaker expressed his delight at the opportunity to conceptualise the trailer for Jayeshbhai Jordaaar.

Maneesh went on to describe Jayeshbhai Jordaar as a “unique film,” and expressed his delight at the prospect of working with Ranveer after over a decade. “It has been my pleasure to have conceptualised the trailer of Jayeshbhai Jordaar promising a unique entertainer for a communal movie experience.

It’s always a mix of pride and joy to collaborate with Ranveer. The early promise I sensed in Ranveer has been realized across the years and across genres. In Jayeshbhai, though, I see Ranveer delivering a tour de force performance that makes me marvel yet again at what artistic heights this fine actor is capable of achieving” he added.

Furthermore, Maneesh hoped for a favourable response to Jayeshbhai Jordaar’s trailer. The social comedy-drama will also star Shalini Pandey and will be directed by Divyang Thakkar, who will be making his directorial debut. Jayeshbhai Jordaar is set to release on May 13 this year, and it will compete with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Anek at the box office.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a forthcoming Indian Hindi-language social comedy-drama film. Ranveer Singh plays the titular Gujarati guy, who believes in equal rights for both men and women in society. Shalini Pandey portrays the female protagonist, with help from Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Deeksha Joshi.

The film was formally announced in May 2019, and shooting began in Mumbai on December 4th, following the completion of pre-production. The film’s second schedule began in Gujarat in January 2020 and ended on February 7, 2020.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar was set to hit theatres on October 2, 2020, and then again on August 27, 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic in India forced the makers to postpone the release, preferring to wait for the situation to normalise before streaming it on OTT channels. The film is set to be released in theatres on May 13, 2022.
