Ravi Kishan Breaks Silence On Kali Poster Controversy; Must Read!

Controversy continues over the poster of the documentary film ‘Kali’. From celebs to the general public on social media platforms, they are also giving their opinion on this issue. Actor Anupam Kher and ‘Ram’ aka Arun Govil of ‘Ramayana’ have also given their opinion on this controversy through tweets. Now BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan have also targeted director Leena Manimekalai, breaking the silence on the Kali poster controversy.

Leena shared the poster of her documentary film and told that this film has been premiered at the Canada Film Festival (Rhythms of Canada). On this, Ravi Kishan said that if you are not watching this film in India, then you are showing this by fundraising for the director of the foreign country.

To make the poster of the film sensational in this way and to take a standing ovation among white people in that way, Leena has done her job. He further said that she also succeeded in her plans. Insulting our deities like this, I have been seeing this going on for many years.

He further said that “ I am the son of a pandit. I have been listening to those verses since childhood. I am very sad to see this poster. I will raise my voice on such controversy in the House. Our session is starting on the 16th. I would demand to bring a strict law for such people. Such films should never be seen in the theater and these people do not get encouragement, I will try my best for this.”

Ravi Kishan further said that religion has been insulted through this wrong poster. I would say to this lady that she should go to the Rebah Center. Such people live under a lot of mental stress. These people have become Hindu haters along with the left thinking. This dirty thinking of theirs, their behavior which is coming out, they are trying to hurt the faith of 100 crore Hindus… It hurts people like us a lot. Leena has not shown any art through this poster. These are only dirty-type thinking people.

Leena had said that after the shooting of the film, actors chill by smoking or drinking. On this, Ravi Kishan said that whatever you think, you do, you think everyone does the same. If everyone smoked cigarettes like this and chilled, then no one would be so fit. Would not have been working for so many years.

The Aga Khan Museum removed the screening of Leena Manimekalai’s film after receiving criticism on social media. The documentary’s contentious poster attracted a lot of criticism online and elsewhere. The filmmaker was the subject of numerous police complaints, many of which called for her arrest. As the matter continued to escalate, Canada’s Aga Khan Museum apologized for “inadvertently offending members of the Hindu and other faith communities.”  It said that it had taken down the film’s presentation.
