The Kapoor father and son are going to do a film together on Netflix.
Netflix released a series of first looks for Thar, a new vengeance thriller starring Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Fatima Sana Shaikh (Dangal), and Satish Kaushik (Deewana Mastana).
Thar is a film set in the 1980s about Siddharth (Harsh Varrdhan), who travels to Pushkar, Rajasthan, seeking a job and “embarks on a quest to revenge his past.”
According to Netflix, Thar is said to be influenced by noir and Western films. Thar is written and directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary (Shaadisthan), and it will be released on Netflix in summer 2022.
Following Vikramaditya Motwane’s 2020 meta dark comedy thriller AK versus AK, Harsh Varrdhan had a small cameo.
In a prepared statement, Anil Kapoor stated, “I am thrilled of what we have accomplished with Thar and is tremendously enthusiastic about the movie”.

Thar will be available on Netflix globally in the summer of 2022.
