Recently, it was said on behalf of the CBI that the agency is investigating this matter very deeply. After interrogating all the eyewitnesses related to this case, they have understood the matter and tried to find out whether the actor died due to suicide or was murdered.

Mumbai Police had told that Sushant Singh Rajput was suffering from depression. Depression medicines were found from Sushant’s house, based on which the Mumbai Police made the theory that Sushant committed suicide due to depression.
On June 15, Sushant’s entire family reached Mumbai, where the actor was given the last rituals. During this, Riya Chakraborty first reached the hospital for the last glimpse of Sushant. Sushant’s last rites were performed at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle amid heavy rains.
After Sushant’s death, many film actors including Kangana Ranaut, Shekhar Suman told nepotism as the reason behind Sushant’s suicide. Some screenshots of Sushant’s comments went viral in which he said that if his films are not seen, he will soon be out of the industry.
On June 18, Riya Chakraborty, who was Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, recorded her statement at the Bandra police station. Earlier, Riya had deleted all social media posts related to Sushant.
After Sushant’s death, Kangana Ranaut, in an interview with a news channel, made some serious allegations against some of the veteran producers-directors of the film industry, which according to Kangana became the reason for Sushant’s suicide. In this controversial interview, Kangana Ranaut has told how film stalwarts create a challenging environment for talented actors coming from outside through nepotism and favoritism so that they do not progress in their careers. Kangana termed Sushant’s suicide as murder.

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has been doubting Sushant’s suicide since the beginning. Subramanian Swamy first appointed a lawyer to look into this case. Swami had also given 26 big reasons for calling Sushant’s suicide a murder.
On July 16, Riya, requesting Home Minister Amit Shah, tweeted, “I have full faith in the government, I request the government with folded hands that a CBI inquiry should be conducted in this matter. I really want to know under what pressure Sushant was forced to take this step.”
The most shocking twist, in this case, came when Sushant’s father lodged an FIR against actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family in Patna on July 29. After this, Riya Chakraborty appealed in the Supreme Court demanding the transfer of the case to Mumbai.
Meanwhile, a statement of Ankita Lokhande became very viral in which it was being said that Sushant had said in a conversation with Ankita that he does not want to have a relationship with Riya. Ankita had gone to Patna to meet Sushant’s family and it was only on their behest that Sushant’s father lodged an FIR. However, Ankita later termed it as a rumor.
NCB registered a case against Riya Chakraborty regarding the drugs angle and investigation started in this case. NCB arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Sauvik after the drugs angle came to the fore in the Sushant case. Many more people associated with Sushant were arrested in this case. Along with this, big stars of the industry like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor have also been questioned.
