Aishwarya Sharma has spoken out strongly after days of online speculation about her personal life, including rumours of divorce with husband and fellow actor Neil Bhatt and allegations of misconduct on the sets of their show. The television actor said she is tired of being painted as the villain while she is the one enduring constant bullying, trolling and character attacks.
In a detailed clarification, Aishwarya said people have been creating and spreading stories without knowing anything about what she and Neil are going through. She added that social media has become a space where anyone can twist facts and direct hate at public figures without accountability. According to her, the situation has now reached a point where silence is being interpreted as guilt, which is why she felt compelled to speak for herself.

Aishwarya clarified that the rumours of separation with Neil are baseless and deeply hurtful. She said they have always handled their personal matters privately and do not believe in broadcasting their marriage online to prove a point. She emphasised that people assume the worst without considering how damaging casual speculation can be. The actor called it cruel that outsiders feel entitled to comment on the most sensitive parts of someone’s life.
Addressing the allegations of misconduct that had surfaced in the past week, Aishwarya said they were not only false but also intentionally amplified by those who gain attention from negativity. She said she has always maintained professional conduct and has never disrespected anyone in her team. According to her, these allegations were part of a pattern of targeted harassment that she has been facing long before the current controversy.

Aishwarya explained that the bullying directed at her comes in many forms scattered social media comments, edited videos, half baked narratives and constant attempts to portray her as aggressive or problematic. She said she is done quietly enduring that perception and added that no one knows the amount of trauma such sustained targeting can cause. For her, speaking up was not a publicity move but an act of self defense.
The actor also appealed to people to reflect on how casually they consume and share gossip. She pointed out that a simple rumour can snowball into a full blown public trial, especially for TV actors who are extremely visible but do not always have a strong PR machinery supporting them. According to her, the habit of believing any anonymous claim has created a culture where people forget that celebrities are human beings with families and emotions.

Aishwarya noted that the entertainment industry has always been harsh on women. She said it is easier for the public to blame the woman in a relationship and turn her into a target. She urged audiences to stop fueling narratives that have no basis, especially when they affect real lives.
Ending her statement, Aishwarya said she and Neil are choosing dignity over drama and requested everyone to allow them the space to handle their lives without interference. She added that she is grateful to those who have supported her during this stressful period and hopes that the noise will settle soon.
