Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is on a roll these days. After delivering three back-to-back hits- Gangubai Kathiawadi, Darlings and Brahmastra, the actress recently launched her maternity wear line. Besides this, Bhatt has been honoured with the prestigious Time100 Impact award in Singapore.
While receiving the same, Alia gave a heartfelt speech. She felt proud as she represented India. “I am immensely proud to be here tonight as a representative of my country. A country that has built both me and my career. India as a country has its core value as diversity above anything else and it’s a song I hope to sing all over the world,” stated The Student Of The Year actress.
Furthermore, the mommy-to-be attracted huge applause for a ‘cute’ mention of her ‘little one.’ Revealing about her soon-to-be baby kicking her constantly during her wise utterance of words, Alia said, “Lastly when it comes to making an impact. I hope I continue to do so in whatever way possible but for now, tonight, this award has genuinely made an impact on me and my little one who has relentlessly kicked me through the speech. Thank you so much, have a good night.”
For the special event, Alia Bhatt looked like a Greek Goddess in a bronze gold cape gown with flowing sleeves. She posted several photos of herself in the same outfit on Instagram. In the pictures, Alia is seen beaming with happiness while flaunting her pregnancy glow and cradling her baby bump. In the caption, the young star penned, “thank you @time.”
