Are The Russians Fighting The US-Iran War In The Background?

Edits | April, 2026

Are the Russians fighting the US-Iran war in the background? Why are they not so forthcoming in announcing that they are part of the Iranian defence system? How hasIran so far withstood attacks, carried out the counterattacks, and also enabled the interception of incoming fire? Is Russia, looking to avenge itself for the Ukraine war, which is funded by the Americans and NATO? Has there been a colossal intelligence failure for the US and Israeli governments in entering this war with Iran? Are all the glass houses like Dubai, and other well-travelled global tourism and business hubs being attacked by Iran, and not being defended to their full potential by NATO, the US or Israel? These are some of the burning questions needing answers, or perhaps they shall be answered in due course .

The economic repercussions of the multi-country war, residing on multiple continents, and funded by currencies of different origins, have complex dynamics that cannot be easily comprehended. Is it going to become a world where the US dollar is going to get dethroned after almost 70 years of its global dominance? Will the end of the US-Iran war spell that the entire world shifts to another currency(ies) and not the US dollar? Will there be currencies for different regions or for different trades? These are some of the questions that cannot be answered right now and they can only be superficially deliberated upon because the outcome of this multi-country war is going to determine what happens.

One possibility is conflict on the two fronts involving a Nuclear option, likely for both the Ukraine-Russian and Iran, or a likely 9/11 like scenario in the US. And the other, in a likely scenario where the US deploys boots on the Iranian ground, that would spell an interesting twist in the tale, since it would mean that they would want to conquer some territory. In the recent past from Vietnam to Afghanistan,  Americans have always retreated back to their homeland due to concerns about their safety, job badly done, or job over but objectives not achieved. It is quite impossible in today’s world to go and conquer a certain country since the scale of population and deeply embedded culture makes it extremely difficult..

So, to say that with boots on the ground, the US is looking to invade Iran and rule it for economic benefits is an outlandish proposition, even though they may have run simulations. Moving an oil tanker from a place where you have oil, does not necessarily mean that you will be able to run that country as well. And to become the sole trader for natural resources of a country there is no need to go to war – it is quite an expense and leaves scars which do not even heal over time.

So, the question is what have the four or five courtiers around Donald Trump achieved, except for eyeing personal wealth, like Bush with Kuwaiti refineries for his family? With US-Israeli intelligence failure so colossal, America will suffer not only collateral damage, but its global standing.

There are set to come more wars – the China-Taiwan conflict, North and South Korea, and perhaps and in all probability – the destabilisation of the state of Pakistan since it is now barraged between two borders – that of Afghanistan and India, with the debt that is more than a trap, and a vast population to support.

As the Southeast Asian countries consider creating a new currency of their own, similar to the Euro with talks and process, and with crypto taking a front-row seat in making transactions across borders and not controlled by the central banks of the countries, a currency crisis (not money) is something that is going to hit the world in the next phase.

Global havens like Dubai, UAE and parts of the Middle East, which were looked upon as bridges (like once Constantinople), between the West and the East, will definitely be reconsidered as investment destinations by many rich & famous and investment bankers since they can always get embroiled in the geopolitical crises.

Has Donald Trump’s actions of wars (Venezuela included), based on wrong intelligence going to hamper all the sundry? The master strategists need to read again that little book called the “The Art of war” which tells it all. Empires have fallen because of a wrong war, or an unnecessary war. This could be both.
