Actor Arjun Bijlani and his wife Neha Swamy are seen as a celebrity couple in Star Plus show ‘Smart Jodi’ these days. During the show, the actor told an anecdote of his life when he was not ready to bring his first child into this world due to financial problems and decided to have an abortion when his wife came to know about the pregnancy.

 

The makers of Smart Jodi have shared a new promo of the show on social media. In this video, Arjun is seen saying that he came to know about his wife’s pregnancy when he was financially struggling and for this reason both the husband and wife decided that they will not bring their first child in this world. And that would be fine.

Arjun said, “We were married for a year only and we came to know that she is pregnant. That’s a year and a half, I was not working, at that time. So obviously a lot of kids.” There is a big responsibility. So we didn’t want to take this thing forward.

 

Seeing Arjun telling everything, Neha became emotional and tears welled up in her eyes. Arjun continued his point and said, “Neha agreed, cried. Finally I had thought because only 40-50000 rupees were left in my account, what child would I do man. We finally reached the hospital that we would not keep it”. In the promo, Arjun was seen telling the same thing. What happened in the end after reaching the hospital will be known only after watching the show.

Arjun and Neha tied the knot on May 20, 2012, after dating each other for a long time. After which both became parents of a son on January 21, 2015. Whose name is Ayan.
