The first glimpse of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari from Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming family entertainer Yeh Prem Mol Liya is winning attention for all the right reasons. The newly released title track features the two actors celebrating Chhath Puja, with the traditional visuals instantly catching viewers’ eyes. The song, composed by Himesh Reshammiya and sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro, was unveiled on September 20 at Mumbai’s Royal Opera House. Among the many colourful moments in the title track, the sequence featuring Ayushmann and Sharvari participating in Chhath Puja has particularly grabbed attention.

The traditional setting, festive atmosphere and devotional elements give the song the quintessential Rajshri family-film feel. The makers appear to have placed Indian traditions at the heart of the film’s visual world, making the song feel less like a standalone romantic number and more like a glimpse into the characters’ family and cultural setting. The title track carries the classic romantic and celebratory flavour associated with Sooraj Barjatya’s cinema. The lyrics by Kumaar revolve around openly embracing love, while the visuals bring together romance, family celebrations and traditional rituals.

Interestingly, Sharvari recently spoke about how working with Barjatya helped her understand the importance of songs in storytelling. She said she grew up watching Rajshri classics such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! and Maine Pyar Kiya, and that Barjatya shared behind-the-scenes stories from those films while they worked on the new songs. The title track also marks the reunion of Himesh Reshammiya and Sooraj Barjatya after 12 years.

The two last worked together on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Himesh has composed the music for Yeh Prem Mol Liya, with reports stating that the film has a seven-song album. The song features vocals by Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro, adding another nostalgic touch to the grand musical presentation. Yeh Prem Mol Liya marks the first time Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari will share the screen.

Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 27, 2026. With romance, family emotions, music and traditional celebrations packed into its first major song, the film is already giving audiences a glimpse of the old-school Rajshri flavour, with Ayushmann and Sharvari bringing a fresh face to it.
