Superstar Salman Khan has won millions of hearts with his movies. But sometimes it is not Khan on-screen weaving his magic, but his body double. Recently, Salman’s substitute Sagar Pandey, who appeared with him in more than 50 films died of a heart attack. Now, this has saddened the Dabangg actor to another level.

Taking to his Instagram, Salman shared a heartfelt note for late Pandey. He posted a throwback picture with Sagar from the sets of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In the caption, Salman thanked Sagar and called him his ‘brother’. “Dil se shukar adda kar raha hoon (Thanking you from the bottom of my heart) for being there with me. May your soul rest in peace brother Sagar. Thanku #RIP #SagarPandey,” he penned.

Soon after, the Ek Tha Tiger actor’s comments section got flooded with condolences messages for Sagar. Many of his friends and fans sent in prayers for the deceased. “Peace mercy and blessings of almighty Allah on you,” read one comment on Salman’s post.

Let us tell you that Sagar Pandey has worked as Salman’s body double in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tubelight, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Dabangg, Dabangg 2 and TV shows like Bigg Boss. He was going to gym when he suffered an attack in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for the premiere of Bigg Boss 16. The show is set to hit the TV screens on October 1. Besides this, Salman will also be seen in the upcoming films- Ek Tha Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan with Pooja Hegde, Kick 2 with Jacqueline Fernandez.
