‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ is one of the most popular TV series of Star Plus in current times. The love triangle between Sai, Virat and Pakhi are loved by millions. With its unpredictable twists and turns, the show has maintained its top position in the TRP chart. However, a shocking news has come from the Goregaon set of GHKPM which can disturb the admirers of the show. 

Recently, a massive fire broke out on the set of ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ around 4:30 pm on Friday. The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit. There were around 1000 of cast and crew members present on the set when the fire incident took place. The fire was so terrifying that it reached the adjacent sets of ‘Ajooni’ and ‘Teri Meri Dooriyaan’ too. Also, due to fast wind, fire brigades were facing difficulties in extinguishing the massive fire. According to sources, the child actors were shooting at the set when the fire broke out. However, no injuries have been reported from the fire till now.

The major question is raised on the safety management of the popular show after the fire incident. According to sources, no major fire equipment was available on the set to extinguish the fire. The Maharashtra government affiliated agency, All India Cine Workers Association has also criticized the production house of ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ for the negligence of the safety of its workers.

All Indian Cine Workers Association President Suresh Shyamalan has even demanded an FIR on the production house of the popular show. Not only the production house but the FIR on the managing director of Film City has been also demanded by AICWA. However, none of the ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ lead actors and the producers have yet given an official statement on the matter.
