While several viewers praised the ambitious scale and visual grandeur, some social media users questioned the quality of certain CGI shots. Now, Ranbir and producer Namit Malhotra have addressed the criticism and urged audiences to experience the film on the big screen before making a final judgment.

Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram in Ramayana, reportedly expressed his surprise at people forming strong opinions about the film’s visual effects after watching short clips online. The actor pointed out that a project of this scale has been created specifically for a cinematic experience. According to Ranbir, watching a few seconds of footage on a mobile phone cannot offer viewers the same experience as watching the finished film in a theatre.

He also highlighted the enormous effort that has gone into creating the film’s visual world. A large team of artists and technicians has reportedly been working on the VFX for an extended period. Producer Namit Malhotra, whose company DNEG is involved in the film’s visual effects, also reacted to the online criticism. He suggested that people should watch the movie on a large screen, including formats such as IMAX, before judging its visuals. Malhotra also indicated that the VFX work is still progressing and that audiences have not necessarily seen the final version of every visual.
