Ranbir Kapoor’s Surprising Response to Making a “Will” for Daughter Raha Kapoor!

Ranbir Kapoor, a well-known Bollywood actor, has recently become a father to his three-month-old daughter, Raha Kapoor. He tied the knot with his co-star from the film Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt, last year in April, and they welcomed their daughter into the world in November. During Alia’s pregnancy, Ranbir spoke in an interview about how his chartered accountant had approached him about making a will.

Ranbir Kapoor comes from a famous family of actors, with Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor among his relatives. Zahan Kapoor, his cousin and the son of Kunal Kapoor and the grandson of the renowned actor Shashi Kapoor, just made his acting debut in Hansal Mehta’s Faraaz.

Before the birth of his daughter, Ranbir was approached by Film Companion to share his opinions on the Kapoor family’s heritage since he was about to become a parent. He replied

By saying that legacy was something one only realizes when retiring and that it was too early for him to think about it. He shared how his CA had approached him a couple of months prior, asking if he would like to make a will, which made him fearful, wondering if he was going to die. He added that he was currently focused on the excitement of raising his child and becoming the best version of himself, taking each day as it comes.

Now, Ranbir is advertising for his forthcoming movie, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar set to release in theaters on Holi, March 8. In the film, he stars opposite Shraddha Kapoor, and the ensemble cast includes Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia, and Boney Kapoor. Ranbir has also completed shooting for another film, Animal, which features Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Saurabh Shukla. It is scheduled to release on August 11.
