His picture was on it with the caption- MEET THE NEW SUPERHERO. While posting this the actor wrote: I still remember the day when I boarded the ‘Deluxe Express’ from Ludhiana to come to Mumbai to fulfill my dreams & bought @Filmfare magazine from Ludhiana station. Today after 20 years I’m on the cover and realized it’s never too late to achieve your dreams.
In this time of pandemic when everyone lost hope, Sonu Sood was the one who came as the knight in shining armor. The previous year he helped the migrants to go back to their places. He arranged no. of buses and trains for them. And when the second wave came, Sonu Sood helped N numbers of people. Because there was a shortage of beds in hospitals and of oxygen cylinders. Now also at present time he and his team are helping the country.
So to honor and celebrate his selfless work, Filmfare shooted a cover photo of their July’s issue featuring Sonu Sood. “He’s not just any cover star, he’s a superhero with a plan and he’s playing the part to perfection. Sonu Sood is already with his secret superman powers to protect the country from this bad guy called covid-19.
On the work front, he will soon be seen in the Telugu action film ‘Acharya’. Sonu Sood will be seen in the action-drama film ‘Prithviraj. Sonu will also be seen in the Tamil film ‘Thamjeharasan’.
