Sara Ali Khan Opens Up On Her Break Up

Sara starred opposite Kartik Aaryan in Love Aaj Kal in 2020. She was rumoured to be dating Kartik. They never confirmed their relationship but as per reports, they broke up before the release of their film in February 2020. Sara called it the ‘worst phase’ and it kept getting harder for her.

During a podcast, the Atrangi Re actress said that 2020 got ‘progressively worse’ as it started with a breakup and kept getting worse. “It was a very bad year and most of it is on the internet,” said Sara.

Sara And Kartik’s Alleged Relationship And Break up

For the unversed, it was Karan Johar who confirmed on his show Koffee With Karan that Sara and Kartik ‘began dating’ after her appearance on the show in 2018.

Even in an interview, Karan told how his show played cupid for celebrities. He had said, “Sara (Ali Khan) mentioned Kartik (Aaryan) and they started dating. Alia (Bhatt) has mentioned Ranbir (Kapoor) season after season and she is married to him today and is going to have his beautiful baby.”
