Filmmaker Karan Johar has roped in popular television stars Arjun Bijlani and Shraddha Arya in the star cast of his upcoming romantic film “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.” Both the actors will be seen doing a cameo in the upcoming film, which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in key roles.

On the previous day, both Arjun and Shraddha took to social media handles to thank Karan Johar for allowing him to work in their film. Sharing his excitement about bagging the film from Dharma Productions, Arjun Bijlani shared a humble gift he received from the director along with a handwritten note and a selfie with him.

Sharing the pictures on the story feed of his social media, Arjun thanked Karan for allowing him to be a part of his upcoming film. He also appreciated the love and guidance extended to him by the filmmaker. “Finally got the chance to shoot with the one and only Karan Johar. I wholeheartedly appreciate your warmth, love, and guidance. I am glad that I could be a part of this upcoming film.”

In a handwritten note, Karan Johar welcomed Arjun to associate with Dharma Productions, adding that he looks forward to working with him in the future as well. He wrote: “Dear Arjun, thank you so much for being a part of my film. Welcome to Dharma, and I look forward to working with you in the future too.”

Meanwhile, Shraddha Arya shared a happy picture with Karan from the sets of “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.” In the picture, where Shraddha is seen wearing a body-hugging beige outfit, so right there, Karan Johar is looking casual in a black printed hoodie and matching sweat pants. Both Shraddha and Karan are sharing an infectious smile as the camera captured them in some pictures. Posting pictures of herself with Karan Johar, she wrote, “On a day of work.”

Earlier, the actress also gave a glimpse of her vanity room and a hamper gifted to her by Karan on the sets of Dharma. She also received a letter welcoming him into the family of Dharma. Talking about the work front, Shraddha Arya is seen playing the role of Preeta in “Kundali Bhagya,” while Arjun Bijlani is hosting “Ravivaar with Star Parivaar.” His latest web show, “Roohaniyat 2,” is also streaming on MX Player currently.

Speaking of the “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,” it stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles and it’s being directed by Karan Johar. Apart from these two stars, this film also stars veteran actors Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. The upcoming film is touted to be a quirky romantic story between the lead protagonists, Rocky and Rani. However, the storyline of the film is still kept secret. Initially, the film was scheduled to be released in February 2023 but is likely to be postponed due to Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy.
