Recently Bollywood Actress Jacqueline Fernandez on Thursday shared the first look poster of her character Kanika from Bhoot Police. The film is directed by Pawan Kirpalani, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Yami Gautam. Jacqueline shared the first look poster, Jacqueline wrote, “Laaton ke Bhoot baaton se nahi mate! Meet the fabulous KANIKA in #BhootPolice. Coming soon on Disney Hotstar VIP.”

In the poster, Jacqueline Fernandez takes on a bold and sassy avatar, sporting a crop top, jeans, and whip in her hands. Earlier in the week, the makers released the posters of Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor’s characters in Bhoot Police. While Arjun seemed rather grim, Saif looked malevolent.           

The film directed by Pawan Kirpalani, Bhoot Police is a horror-comedy, which was earlier scheduled to open in theatres in September this year, will now premiere on Disney + Hotstar. The makers are yet to announce a release date.

Jacqueline Fernandez Career Life:

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress, former model, and the winner of the Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant of 2006 who especially works in Hindi films. In 2009, She debuted with Aladdin and since then has established a career in the Hindi film industry. Born into a multiracial Eurasian family of Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian descent, Fernandez was raised in Bahrain.

After graduating in mass communication from the University of Sydney and working as a television reporter in Sri Lanka, she joined the modeling industry. She has crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006 and represented her country at Miss Universe in 2006.     

She came to Mumbai on a modeling contract and landed a role in the Bollywood movie Aladin in 2009 directed by Sujoy Ghosh along with well-known Indian stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, and Riteish Deshmukh.
After the success of her first film, she got signed on by Milap Zaveri for his directorial debut movie Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (2010) in which she plays the part of an alien who comes to earth in search of love. Her co-star from her first movie, Riteish Deshmukh was her leading man again.

The director proposed her to well-known director Farah Khan who guest-starred in this movie. She made a cameo appearance, in a song, in the movie Housefull in 2010 which was directed by Farah Khan’s younger brother, Sajid Khan.
