On Wednesday, the actor turned to Instagram to offer a birthday message for Vamika as well as a new snapshot of the mother and daughter.

 

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have been fiercely protective of their adored daughter Vamika’s privacy since she was born. They were quite particular about not having their daughter’s photographs taken and have often highlighted it.

Anushka Sharma went to social media today, her two-year-old daughter birthday, to post a cute photo of herself with her.

Vamika can be seen in Anushka’s arms, sitting on a seat, while the mother caresses her daughter. In the comments section, Virat showered loves on the lovely image.

Anushka captioned her Instagram image on Vamika Kohli’s birthday, “Two years ago my heart expanded wide open.” Anushka’s brother, producer Karnesh Ssharma, commented on their photo with a succession of evil eye amulet and red heart emojis. “Happy birthday, princess Vamika,” an admirer said on Anushka’s post. “Cutieeee…” wrote another.

He also posted an adorable photo of his little girl, Vamika, lying on his chest on lush green grass. “The heartbeat of my heart is 2,” he wrote with the photo.

After dating for several years, Anushka married cricketer Virat Kohli in an intimate wedding in Italy in 2017.

On January 11, 2021, Anushka and Virat welcomed their first child. In an Instagram message at the time, the cricketer thanked everyone for their love, prayers, and well wishes.

After a few weeks, the couple revealed their daughter’s name and discussed its meaning. Anushka and Virat had posted a picture of themselves with Vamika in front of pink and white balloons.

Anushka and Virat recently celebrated the New Year with Vamika in Dubai and posted a slew of photos from their vacation.
