She reflected on the nostalgic moments she experienced during the award ceremony, especially when children performed to songs from some of her most iconic films, including Khushi, Vasu, Okkadu, Simhadri, and Missamma. She wrote, “25 years. Zee Cine Awards and Missamma, thank you all for this award. When I saw children performing on stage to songs from my films, Khushi, Vasu, Okkadu, Simhadri, and Missamma, old memories came flooding back.”
