Dia Mirza And Sahil Sangha End Their 11 Years Of Togetherness, Announces It On Social Media

Finding true love is not an easy thing, especially in this fast-moving world. Many people even have to be in a number of relationships before to finally find their true love. And then there are those who find their love after marriage, but not with their wedded life partner and Bollywood actress Dia Mirza is one of them. She was married to Sahil Sangha for 5 long years and were happily married until they were not in love anymore. Dia Mirza had tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Sahil on October 18, 2014, in an Arya Samaj wedding. Since then the couple has been giving us major couple goals. It was just a few days back when Dia Mirza had wished her hubby on his birthday with a sweet post calling him “a precious one”.

And today on August 1, 2019, Dia Mirza took to Instagram and released an official statement announcing their divorce. And it could be read as, “After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and continue to be there for each other with love and respect.  While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other”.

It could be further read as, “We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and the members of the media for their continued support and respect everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time. We will not be commenting any further on this matter, Thankyou.”

Talking about her wedding once Dia had shared, “I am very happy. It was a beautiful Arya Samaj ceremony. The vows were explained to us. It was wonderful because it was good to be conscious of what you are going through, and what are the vows you are exchanging. It was a dream wedding.”

Explaining the love for Dia and how important she is to him Sahil had once shared in an interview,“What I love the most about her is that in one word, she is pure. She is very giving and all heart, which is also a problem as then you need to take care of your heart. She lights up a room as soon as she walks in.”

In an interaction with Miss Malini when Dia Mirza was asked what advice she would like to give to parents out there who are in a troubled marriage. She was quoted as saying, “It’s important as parents to recognise the fact that. Yes, your children are important and they mean the world to you and their happiness must mean the world to you. But that can’t come at the cost of your own happiness because, at the end of the day, you can never really be happy or give happiness if you’re not happy yourself.”

This is so shocking and heartbreaking! We wish Dia and Sahil all the luck for their respective future.
