Where It All Began
Our story starts in 1992, long before we ever imagined leading it. Shraddha Impex began with a simple but powerful vision: to bring world-class industrial tools and testing instruments to India. Back then, quality tools were either unavailable or too expensive to import. There was a clear gap between what industries needed and what they could access.
Our founder, Mr. Paresh Mehta, decided to bridge that gap. With passion and persistence, he began importing torque wrenches, force gauges, and precision testing instruments from Japan and Europe, brands like IMADA, Koken, Kanon, Tohnichi, Norbar, and Gedore. What began as a small distribution firm gradually evolved into a trusted name in India’s industrial landscape.
By staying true to one simple principle: deliver quality, build trust — Shraddha Impex grew, one tool and one relationship at a time.
When the Next Generation Stepped In
Fast-forward a few decades, and that’s where we, Kinjal Mehta and Shraddha Mehta, step into the frame.
Terms like torque testers and calibration machines weren’t unfamiliar to us. Over time, what started as background conversations turned into genuine curiosity.
As we got more involved, we realized that the industrial tools industry isn’t just about machines and measurements; it’s about solving problems, building reliability, and supporting the industries that keep our nation moving. The more we learned, the more we fell in love with it.
But we also noticed something else, the lack of women around us.
In most meetings, plant visits, and exhibitions, we were often the only women in the room. That didn’t intimidate us; it motivated us. We understood that if we wanted to see change, we couldn’t wait for it. We had to create it.
The Turning Point: Hiring Only Women
That realization led to a bold decision; we decided to hire only women.
It wasn’t about ticking a diversity box. It was about believing that women deserve more opportunities in spaces where they’ve rarely been invited.
When we say “only women,” people often raise their eyebrows. But once they see our team, smart, skilled, confident women handling logistics, sales, calibration, and technical support, those eyebrows turn into admiration.
We’ve seen women who had never imagined working in the industrial sector now leading client meetings, operating advanced tools, managing inventory, and training others. Watching them grow has been one of the most fulfilling parts of our journey.
For us, every woman we hire is more than an employee; she’s a statement that says, We belong here too.

Today, Shraddha Impex represents over a dozen international brands and supplies to clients across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. But we never let scale make us forget our roots. We still believe in personal connections, in picking up the phone ourselves, and in ensuring that every customer feels heard.

Recently, we were invited to Sambalpur University to give a live demo of our Imada Food Texture Analyzer to Ph.D. students. Watching those students engage with the equipment: asking questions, taking notes, discussing applications for their research, was incredibly rewarding.
Moments like that remind us that Shraddha Impex isn’t just a supplier; we’re a bridge between industry and education. We’re helping young minds connect theory with practice.
And we want to do more of that, visit more colleges, meet more students, especially women, and show them that industrial technology isn’t intimidating; it’s empowering.
