Megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Pathaan is smashing all box office records. It has become the biggest movie in India in just a few days of its release. The film has collected ₹ 542 crore in five days. To express gratitude for all the love, the star cast of the movie held a press meet. During the media interaction, John Abraham who was rumored to be on cold terms with Shah Rukh Khan heaped praises on his co-actor.

John tagged Shah Rukh as the ‘biggest action hero’ of India. He also jokingly revealed that he  joked about how he almost kissed Khan in a few scenes of the movie.

John began by thanking the producer of the film Aditya Chopra. He said that it is amazing how he positions him whether it’s Dhoom or Pathaan. Furthermore, he appreciated his director for representing him and the entire cast.

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan, John said that he doesn’t think he (Shah Rukh Khan) is an actor anymore. Instead, he has become an emotion. Which is why he nearly went to kiss him in many scenes (laughs). “I have worked with Deepika earlier, and it’s amazing to work with her. The songs feature one of the most beautiful man and the most beautiful woman (Deepika Padukone),” John stated.

Applauding Shah Rukh Khan for doing stupendous action in Pathaan, John mentioned that earlier, he used to think he is an action hero, but today Shah Rukh is the biggest action hero in the country. “He is so good at action. I remember telling him that you are the national treasure of the country and I can’t hit you. Overall, he was just confident and fantastic with action sequences. Pathaan will be my biggest hit for a long time,” John added.
