On Wednesday, Kangana Ranaut revealed Satish Kaushik’s look from the upcoming film Emergency on her Instagram handle. In the film, Satish will be seen in the role of the then defense minister Jagjivan Ram, who was also a freedom fighter. And Kangana Ranaut will be seen in the role of former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi.

Sharing the poster featuring Satish of the film, Kangana Ranaut wrote in the caption, “Last but not the least… Presenting the powerhouse of talent Satish Kaushik as late Jagjivan Ram in Emergency, popularly known as Babuji, and he was one of the most revered politicians in the Indian political history.” Satish Kaushik also took to Instagram and shared his look from the film. He wrote in his caption along with the poster, “Honoured to essay the role of Jagjivan Ram also known as Babuji, the most compassionate and the crusader of social justice in Emergency directed by Kangana Ranaut.”

The film, “Emergency” revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and it features Kangana Ranaut in the titular role of the late politician. Kangana Ranaut is also directing the movie. In the film, actor Shreyas Talpade will be seen in the role of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Anupam Kher will play Jayaprakash Narayan in the film. And Mahima Chaudhry will be seen as cultural activist and Indira Gandhi’s confidante Pupul Jayakar. Along with them actor and model Milind Soman will be seen in the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in upcoming film.
