Matthew Perry says he was not furious when Jennifer and David revealed during the Friend’s reunion that they were crushing on each other. Perry further said he knew even before Jennifer and David disclosed it to the world. During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, co-star Julia Cunningham pondered if Perry was enraged during the reunion when Jennifer and David revealed that they were crushing on each other.

Perry, who played the role of Chandler Bing in NBC’s television sitcom Friends, unveiled what it was like working alongside Jennifer when he had a crush on her. He further added, when she would walk in, he would be like”hey! good to see you” and he would go back to his dressing room and think oh, he would never be able to be with her.

The actor said how one can never crush on Jennifer Anniston and said but at one point in time he did. In Friends season 1, David admitted he had a crush on Jennifer. To this Jennifer added that it was reciprocated.

David further continued, at some point, they all were crushing on each other. But it was like two ships passing because one of us was always committed. So we never thought of crossing our boundaries.

While promoting his memoir, Friends, Lovers And The Terrible Thing, Perry told the journalist, Diane Sawyer that Jennifer and he met even before filming the show and he once asked Jennifer out on a date but the actress turned him down saying they are better as friends. But that did not stop Perry from admiring her on the sets.
