Speaking about her personal life, Mrunal shared that she hopes to get married someday. She said that when the right time arrives and she meets the right person, she will happily make the announcement herself on her social media platforms.

Reacting to the speculation in an interview with Galatta Plus, she strongly denied the reports. She clarified that she never made such statements and was shocked to see herself being quoted. Describing the episode as “scary,” she said it felt like an April Fools’ prank.
Although Mrunal and Dhanush were never officially confirmed as a couple, rumours began last year when she attended the wrap party of his film Tere Ishk Mein. Later, videos showing her warmly greeting and hugging him at the premiere of Son of Sardaar 2 further fuelled ongoing speculation.

On the work front, Mrunal will soon appear in the romantic drama Do Deewane Seher Main opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi. Helmed by Ravi Udyawar and backed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Zee Studios, the film promises an emotional love story and is set to hit theatres on February 20, 2026. Apart from this, she will feature in Dacoit alongside Adivi Sesh. The action-packed thriller is slated for a theatrical release on April 10, 2026.
