Her unforgettable performances in iconic films continue to hold a special place in the hearts of audiences, cementing her legacy as a vital figure in the Indian entertainment industry.

Preity Zinta Opens Up About Her First Heartbreaking Love

Preity Zinta recently participated in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on X, where she responded to various questions from her fans. Among the many answers she gave, one in particular struck an emotional chord. When a fan asked if she still cries while watching Kal Ho Naa Ho, her heartfelt reply left many moved. The actress revealed that she not only cries while watching the film but also finds it deeply personal, as it reminds her of a painful chapter from her own life, her first love, who tragically passed away in a car accident. She shared:

“Yes, I cried when I saw it, and I cried when we were filming it too! My first love died in a car crash, so this film always hits differently. Fun Fact – Most scenes had all actors crying naturally… and Aman’s death scene had everyone crying in front of the camera and behind it, too.”

Preity Zinta turned vegetarian just weeks before the Mahakumbh

In the same session, Preity Zinta shared that she had recently adopted a vegetarian lifestyle. When asked about having Hyderabadi biryani, the actress revealed that she had turned vegetarian three weeks before Mahakumbh and has continued with the same diet since then. However, she mentioned that she occasionally includes eggs in her meals to meet her protein needs. She was quoted as saying: “To be honest, three weeks before the Maha Kumbh I became vegetarian, and I’m still vegetarian, except for eggs, which I eat on and off for protein, so no, I have not eaten Hyderabadi biryani.”

Preity Zinta on Unleashing Her Kali Avatar

Another fan asked Preity Zinta to share something not many knew about her. She replied that she hates taking photos in temples, early mornings after flights, in bathrooms, or during security checks. She added that asking politely is usually the best way to get a photo, unless it’s in those places. Preity also warned that if anyone breaks her “no picture policy” for her kids, they’ll see her Kali avatar.

“I hate taking pictures in temples, early in the morning after a flight, in bathrooms and during security checks! Asking me for a photo is the best way to get a photo unless you are asking for pictures in the above situations. Taking my kid’s pictures will bring out my Kali avatar; otherwise, I’m a happy person. Don’t start making videos without my permission – it’s actually very irritating – Just ask me politely, and please leave my kids alone.”

When asked the secret to her beauty, Preity Zinta replied with grace

When a fan asked Preity the secret behind her beauty, she said she had no idea why it was such a hot topic. She shared that her looks often got more attention than her mind. While men are praised for their achievements, women, she noted, are mostly judged by their age, with little focus on what they’ve accomplished.
