RRR: Shah Rukh Khan Requests Ram Charan To ‘Touch’ Oscars

On Tuesday, Shah Rukh Khan released the first trailer for his upcoming film Pathaan, and stars from the Tamil and Telugu film industries reposted it on Twitter. In his trademark style, Shah Rukh thanked them. He replied to Ram Charan with a sweet wish for the Oscars and asked Vijay to treat him to a ‘delicious feast’.

Ram Charan tweeted,”Wishing the entire team of #Pathan all the best!” Shahrukh Sir, I am looking forward to seeing you in action sequences like I have never seen before! #Pathan Trailer.” In this tweet Shahrukh khan also replied saying, “Thank you so much, my Mega Power Star @alwaysramcharan,” Please let me touch Oscar when your RRR team brings it to India!! (Mee RRR team Oscar ni intiki tecchinappudu okkasaari nannu daanini daanini touch cheyyan ivvandi!)

RRR has been nominated for several Oscars, including Best Song and 14 other categories. The Oscar nominations will be announced on January 24. Pathaan, which also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana, is Bollywood’s first major release in 2023, and a lot is riding on its box office performance after a disappointing 2022.Shah Rukh’s last release was 2018’s Zero, which did poorly at the box office, and five years later, the actor hopes to get back into the habit of delivering hits. However, it will not be an easy ride for the superstar, as the film’s first song, Besharam Rang, has already sparked controversy.
