Kabir Khan’s film 83, which was released in theatres on 24 December 2021, the biopic of Kapil Dev, failed to do anything special due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Saba Ali Khan further wrote, “After watching this film, I remembered my father. We used to watch movies together. Ranveer Singh has beautifully portrayed the role of Kapil Dev on-screen. After theatres, 83 is now released on Disney + Hotstar and Netflix on Monday. Apart from Ranveer Singh, many stars including Hardy Sandhu, Amy Virk, Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Dhairya Karva, Chirag Patil played an important role in this film. The film was released in theatres in 2021. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film soon withdrew from the theatre.
