Recently, the Kedarnath actress took to Twitter to pen down a warm birthday wish for Home Minister Amit Shah. But to her surprise got brutally trolled. Many netizens pointed out the timing of her tweet. Users on the microblogging site thought that she wished Amit Shah as Bollywood is under the radar of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
Wishing Amit Shah on his birthday, Sara tweeted, “Warmest birthday wishes and regards to the Hon’ble Union Home Minister @AmitShah ji (sic).”
This did not go down well with the Twitterati. They began trolling Sara for trying to save herself from the NCB by earning the Home Minister’s goodwill.

In Sara’s tweet, one person commented, “No more NCB raids. You are safe now (sic).” Another Twitter user wrote, “Sara Ali Khan marks herself safe (sic).”A third user penned, “requesting NCB to note it down and avoid any further action.”

For the unversed, Sara’s tweet comes amidst the growing tension among Bollywood stars regarding NCB raids. While Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is in Arthur Road jail at present in an alleged drug case, actress Ananya Panday is also going for rounds of interrogation at the NCB office.
On the work front, Sara will be next seen in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. The film is all set to release on the OTT platform Netflix.
