Shweta Tiwari’s Daughter Palak Tiwari On Nepotism:’I Don’t Consider Myself A Star Kid’

One of the most popular debates of the B-Town is on Nepotism. The issue got more highlighted after Kangana Ranaut openly called Karan Johar a ‘Flagbearer’ of it on his show Koffee With Karan. Since then, many outsiders have given their views on the existence of nepotism in the film industry.

Besides this, the entire debate puts the star kids under a lot of pressure. The Celebrity kids time and again have to prove themselves as talented as possible and not just a product of nepotism. Many people have changed their perspective towards the star kids. They think that for star kids, it’s easier to take up an acting career and make a name in the business in comparison to outsiders. It is often said that star kids get served with projects on the plate and on the other hand outsiders struggle a lot to grab the opportunities. Living with these debates, there is TV actress Shweta Tiwari’s daughter, Palak Tiwari who doesn’t consider herself a star kid.

In a recent interview with SpotboyE.com, Palak Tiwari was asked to give her views on this nepotism topic. The 21-year old, who is all set to step into Bollywood, shared that though her mother is a veteran actress in the TV industry for a long time now, she doesn’t consider herself any celebrity kid.

Palak Tiwari said, “Frankly, I don’t consider myself a star kid. My mother is a very established actress but in a very different industry altogether. I would have had these benefits I feel in television. I still have the benefits. I have much more recognition now in this stage of my career, I wouldn’t have it if I wasn’t for her daughter. However, I think at the end of the day it’s your work that speaks. You may get one film, two or three films based on your contacts but then 5 or 6 films they have to look out at their financial situations. Only because of your capability, work and likability, one can sustain longer in the industry.”

Further in the interview, Palak was asked about not being launched by any famous filmmaker or opposite any known actor, Palak said, “Honesty, I believe if you work hard, everything comes with time. The best you can do initially is to prove yourself, show your acting prowess. And, I felt this was the film I can test myself and challenge myself as an actor. I wanted to start my career from a very challenging aspect not very easy. ”

Palak Tiwari is quite famous on social media and is ready to make her highly awaited Bollywood debut with the upcoming horror film ‘Rosie-The Saffron Chapter’. The actress will be seen sharing the screen space with Vivek Oberoi.
