Austin Butler’s vocal tutor, Irene Bartlett, even opened out about Austin’s Elvis accent and the transition in his current speaking voice. This time, Austin’s ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens chimed in on the trending issue.

Austin Butler’s voice coach, who helped him with his voice and accent, revealed out about the likely reason why he still sounds like Elvis even now in an interview with ABC Gold Coast and said,
He worked on it all the time due to COVID shutdowns, and it’s tough to turn off something you’ve worked so hard on.
He was dressed in 1950s attire when he arrived for his singing lessons. He was never going to be an Elvis impersonation, and neither was [director] Baz Luhrmann. What they needed was a genuine connection with Elvis’ personality and narrative, and Austin worked hard to achieve it.”
When Austin’s voice coach was questioned if he was faking his accent, he said, She responded, “I apologize that people perceive it as acting. He has really adopted the voice.”
