Actor and former Miss India Celina Jaitly has responded strongly to legal notices sent by her estranged husband Peter Haag and father-in-law Wolfgang Haag, saying she will not be intimidated into silence as her divorce and custody battle continues to unfold. The actor took to social media to address the latest development, reiterating her allegations and asserting her right to speak about her experiences.
The latest exchange comes amid an increasingly bitter legal dispute between Celina and Peter, whose marriage of over 15 years has been under public scrutiny since the actor filed for divorce and made allegations of domestic violence and abuse. The proceedings involve not only the dissolution of their marriage but also issues related to child custody and other legal claims.

According to reports, Peter Haag and his father recently sent legal notices objecting to statements Celina has made publicly about the dispute. The notices reportedly allege that some of her comments are defamatory and could affect ongoing legal proceedings as well as the well-being of the couple’s children.
In response, Celina issued a strongly worded statement on Instagram, making it clear that she has no intention of withdrawing her claims or remaining silent. She described the attempt to legally challenge her public comments as ironic, given the allegations she has already raised against her husband and his family.
The actor said that speaking out about her experiences is part of her pursuit of justice and that she would continue to defend herself through appropriate legal channels. She also stressed that her fight is not solely about herself but also concerns the welfare and future of her children.

Celina further stated that she has faith in the judicial systems of both India and Austria and believes the legal process will eventually establish the truth. Her comments suggest that she intends to continue pursuing the matter despite the legal pressure being exerted on her.
The actor had previously accused Peter Haag of emotional, verbal, physical and sexual abuse, allegations that attracted widespread attention across the entertainment industry and social media. In public statements, she described feeling isolated and stripped of support during difficult periods of her marriage.
In another emotional post shared earlier this year, Celina alleged that she was forced to leave Austria with assistance from neighbours in order to protect herself. She also claimed that her children had been moved to an undisclosed location during the ongoing custody dispute, allegations that further intensified public interest in the case.

Peter Haag has denied the allegations and has challenged several of Celina’s public statements through legal notices. Reports indicate that his father, Wolfgang Haag, has also objected to the actor’s remarks, arguing that public discussions about the dispute could have wider consequences, particularly for the children involved.
Celina, who rose to fame after winning the title of Femina Miss India Universe 2001 and later appeared in films such as No Entry, Golmaal Returns and Apna Sapna Money Money, has largely stayed away from mainstream Bollywood in recent years while focusing on family life and activism.
Beyond her acting career, she has been recognised for her advocacy on issues related to women’s rights, human rights and LGBTQ+ equality. Her public image has long been associated with activism, making her decision to speak openly about her personal struggles consistent with her broader advocacy work.
For now, the legal battle between Celina Jaitly and Peter Haag remains ongoing. However, the actor’s latest statement leaves little doubt about her stance. Despite facing legal threats and defamation warnings, she has made it clear that she intends to continue speaking out and pursuing her claims through the courts.
