Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated their first Diwali together after getting married in April. They are expecting their first child. The wedding was attended by Ranbir’s mother Nitu Kapoor and Alia’s mother Soni Razdan. Alia’s sister, Shaheen Bhatt, also celebrated the holiday with them.

On Monday night, Neetu shared how everyone got together for Diwali Lakshmi Puja via Instagram Stories. Nitu performs arti with a diya in her hand, Ranveer plays the bell with one hand and wraps Alia with the other. Soni Razdan can also be seen with them during the puja.

Neetu Kapoor also posted a selfie of herself, Alia, Ranbir and Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and Shaheen. she also posted a group selfie taken by Ranbir, wishing her fans a Happy Diwali. Shows everyone on a balcony with lights in the background. she simply wrote, “Happy Diwali” In the caption.

Ranbir’s sister Ridhima Kapoor and cousin Karisma Kapoor used heart emojis in response to the images. One fan wrote, ” happy to see the two families spending the moments together. Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan also posted a photo of herself with Alia and Shaheen on Instagram and captioned it with “Happppppyyyyyy!” Alia looks great in a red salwar suit, heavy earrings and a bindi on her forehead.

Earlier in the day, Alia shared a new photo of her with her cat Edward lying in bed, as well as a throwback photo from last year’s Diwali, wishing fans a Happy Diwali. “Happy Diwali through this throwback picture as I am celebrating this Diwali in my bed. love and light to everyone.”
