COVID-Positive Randhir Kapoor Shifted To ICU, Hospital Says, “He is Stable As Of Now”

Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor was admitted in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital on Wednesday after he tested positive for coronavirus. The 74-year old actor was shifted to ICU and has been kept under observation for few days. Speaking about the same a hospital source said, “He is in the ICU for observation. He is stable. He will be in the hospital for a few days”.

Speaking to Etimes the actor on Friday revealed that even after taking two doses of COVID-19 vaccine he wonders how he contracted the virus. He was quoted as saying, “I have been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit to do some further tests.” He further informed that he had received his two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, and he has no clue how he contracted the virus.

The actor lost both of his younger brothers, Rishi Kapoor(67) and Rajiv Kapoor (58) within a short span of two years. Rishi Kapoor passed away last year after his long two year battle with cancer and Rajiv Kapoor died of cardiac arrest in February this year. While the family was still grieving the loss Randhir ji contracted the deadly COVID-19 virus.
