Television actor Gurmeet Choudhary is currently trying to stay active on social media in order to connect with his fans. The actor is sharing entertaining videos and pics of himself.

In a recent interview, the actor has revealed that he was once threatened by a famous filmmaker when he rejected a script that was offered by him.

In a conversation with radio host Siddharth Kannan, the TV actor has revealed that he had once attended a narration that ended on a very bitter note. The director had threatened him with ending his career when he rejected the project.

He said, “Jab main filmo mein aa gaya toh ek ache director the, bade director the, aur unhone ghar pe bulaya aur mujhe narration diya. Nayi film, samajh nahi aayi. Aaj ke time pe aisa hota hai ki aapko film nahi samajh aayi aur aap mana kar sakte hai aur bol sakte hai. Maine jab mana kiya toh unhone kaha ke main tujhe koi film karne nahi dunga”

He further added, “Mujhe jhatka laga ke ye kya! Ye toh hota hai na ke actor script padta hai aur aapko lagta hai ke yaar, aap karo ya nahi karoge. But mujhe ye bola gaya aur unhone mujhe khade hoke bola ke kabhi kaam karne nahi dunga. ‘Tumne meri film kaise mana ki, tujhe kya lagta hai, meri film gandi hai.’”

Gurmeet is a known face on TV. He is still remembered for characters he portrayed on-screen like Maan Singh Khurana of Geet…Huyi Sabse Parayi, Ram in Ramayan, etc. He has also appeared on reality shows like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Chaudhary had previously tried his luck in the film industry too. He has starred in films like Khamoshiyan and Wajah Tum Ho, which unfortunately tanked at the box office. In an earlier interview, Gurmeet has talked about his wish to dive further into the film industry and play a hero in a movie. He has said that he wants to be a superstar and showcase more of his acting skills to his viewers.
