Kangana Ranaut made a sharp counterattack against yoga guru Baba Ramdev after he questioned her past while commenting on her controversial “Generation Gutter” remark. The actress and BJP MP took to Instagram to respond to Ramdev and said he should not make assumptions about her personal life or lecture her about character. The latest war of words began after Kangana criticised a section of Gen Z and referred to them as the “Gutter Generation.” Her comments attracted criticism from several quarters, including Baba Ramdev.

During a TV9 Bharatvarsh event, Ramdev questioned Kangana’s background and said, in reference to her controversial remark, that calling the country’s youth “gutter” was a sign of a disturbed mindset. He also questioned her childhood, youth and past actions. Ramdev reportedly said that he did not want to discuss someone like Kangana, while also suggesting that her political party should take note of her comments. Kangana did not let the remarks go unanswered.

Sharing a response on Instagram, she directly addressed Ramdev and objected to his comments about her youth and personal life. She wrote, “Baba ji, don’t daydream about my youth or bedroom.” Kangana argued that assumptions about someone’s personal life can only be based on rumours and gossip. The actress then brought up controversies surrounding Patanjali and referred to Supreme Court criticism over claims related to the company’s products.
She contrasted those matters with what she described as gossip about her own personal life. Kangana concluded her message by telling Ramdev not to give her character lessons, adding that she believed her character was better than his and stating, “No fraud detected here.” Kangana’s latest clash with Ramdev goes back to her comments about Gen Z. The actress had criticised a section of young protesters and used the controversial term “Gutter Generation”.

After facing backlash, Kangana clarified that she was not targeting the entire Gen Z generation. She said her remarks were directed at a particular group whose behaviour and language she found objectionable. Ramdev, however, criticised the choice of words and argued that an entire generation should not be described as “gutter”. The exchange has now turned into a heated public debate, with social media users divided over the comments made by both personalities.
