The blame game between the ex-couple, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen is refusing to take a backseat. They are coming up with serious allegations against each other almost every day. Recently, when Asopa accused Sen of cheating on her, he in his reply alleged her to be romantically involved with TV actor Karan Mehra. Now, Mehra has responded to Rajeev’s claims.

Talking about the uncalled controversy he has been embroiled into, Karan lashed out, “What romance is Rajeev talking about? I had spoken to Charu for a while at a promotional event in June. After that we never connected until today.” When asked what was the connection today, he stated, “She has sent me messages of apology saying that she’s sorry that I have to bear all this nonsense.”

Further, Karan revealed that he and Charu did speak about discord in their respective marriages when they met at the promotion event four months ago. “That was natural, people ask such things to each other, don’t they, if the news has been out in public domain?Prior to the event in question, I had met Charu about 10 years ago. “I have shifted to Delhi after the whole Nisha Rawal episode and Rajeev Sen accuses me like this. Just terrible,” he stated.

Karan, who was angry on Rajeev’s statement also hinted at filing a lawsuit against him. “I don’t have his number and don’t wish to (call him). I would rather file a defamation suit against him,” Karan said.

Charu also slammed Rajeev for pointing fingers at her character. She stated, “I don’t know on what basis has he made these claims. When a man has nothing else, it becomes easiest for him to malign a woman’s character. They know how that would affect us most. He had no other way to put me down and has thus stooped to this level, and accused me of something so wrong.”

Clarifying about making ‘romantic video with Karan’ as claimed by Rajeev, Charu said, “It’s a professional video, a collaboration for an event. Karan and I were invited as celebrity guests there. We are just standing together, amid a rally of people, not even alone. How can he call that romantic?”

For the unversed, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen have decided to part ways after giving their marriage a second chance. Meanwhile, Karan Mehra is also battling with his estranged wife, Nisha Rawal for the custody of his son, Kavish after a fallout with her last year.
