Kareena Kapoor Khan has once again found herself at the centre of pregnancy rumours, and this time the actress responded with her trademark humour. At 45, Kareena became the subject of social media speculation after a recent video of her leaving a gym went viral, with some users claiming that she appeared to be sporting a baby bump. However, reports have confirmed that the actress is not pregnant.
The rumours began after Kareena was spotted leaving a gym in Mumbai on August 21. In the viral video, one of her team members was seen holding an umbrella in front of her, seemingly shielding her from the paparazzi. Some social media users interpreted the moment, along with the appearance of her stomach, as a sign that she was expecting her third child with husband Saif Ali Khan.

Kareena Gives a Hilarious Response
Instead of issuing a serious statement, Kareena chose to laugh off the speculation. When she was spotted by paparazzi in Mumbai, a photographer appeared to apologise to her over the viral video. Kareena smiled and jokingly responded, “Pagal kar dete ho tumlog”, meaning, “You guys drive us crazy.”
The actress also appeared to address the rumours through her Instagram Stories. She shared a humorous picture featuring a visibly bloated stomach and added the words “Hat na be”, along with laughing and pizza emojis. Her playful post appeared to suggest that the supposed “baby bump” could simply have been the result of food or an unflattering camera angle.
Saba Pataudi Also Dismissed the Pregnancy Rumours
Before Kareena’s humorous response, her sister-in-law Saba Pataudi had already spoken out against the speculation. Saba described the viral appearance as a possible “bad angle” and questioned why people were jumping to conclusions based on a single photograph or video.

She also urged people to respect the family’s privacy and not make assumptions about personal matters.
Kareena and Saif Are Already Parents to Two Sons
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan got married in October 2012. The couple welcomed their first son, Taimur Ali Khan, in 2016 and their second son, Jehangir Ali Khan, in 2021.
Therefore, the recent social media claims about a third child were quickly picked up by fans and entertainment pages. However, a source close to Kareena confirmed that she is not expecting another baby, putting the speculation to rest.

Kareena’s light-hearted reaction has also won appreciation from fans, many of whom praised the actress for handling the situation with humour rather than allowing the rumours to upset her.
On the professional front, Kareena is gearing up for Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar and also starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. The investigative drama is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 18, 2026.
